PHijn dagje, overigens...

De TT-PAF heb ik ook gezien. Die kwam een Alouette ophalen, dacht ik.
That's right and not in the 80's ;) But who cares. That TchadAF Hercules was cancelled several times before!!

Not only nice aircrafts at that time, but also the colorscheme's weren't as boring like nowadays!! Always loved the camo's, big roundels, etc..

Nog maar ff verder scrollen 8)

What a time... Luckely the early 90's were nice as well!! Not as the 80's, but ok.... :D

The commanders aircraft changed its colors many times. Compare this one with my previous post which was only one year before. Here you also see the red/white/blue "Wolfhounds" written on the fueltank

The 81-0049/CR in better times. Only a few days later this F-15C crashed in the North Sea.

The date: the 7th of August 1984.
What a day. The local F15's were flying like crazy, furthermore two Torrejon Vipers, 3 F5E Tigers from the then 527 TFTAS, 2 Ramstein F4E's, 4 Mirage F1's from Cambrai, a French C160F, a German CH53 and a German Alouette II (75+32), a Dutch Navy P3C (301) and two Italian MB339's (MM54503 and the MM54509).
Here are the slides from that day:
