As it is an airship hall, that strange looking building in the middle of the picture, I tought it could be Essen-Mulheim... but that hangar is green and has large WDL-titels!
So it must be the former Cargolifter factory, that never produced any airship, at Brand near Berlin (never been there).

That's Brand, a former NVA MiG21 base (I think). The Big Building is tropical swimming paradise or something like that. Here's another one, appy polly loggy for the bad quality (Sony DSP-93 on a hazy day).
I know the place, it is in Germany en route between Warsaw and Brussels.

Answers will be questioned.....
Re: ok
Indeed, the first one is Cologne/Bonn (CGN/EDDK), the second is Spangdahlem (SPM/ETAD). But the third one was't over Germany, but over France, it's Fontaine Airport (BOR/LFSQ) near Belfort.falcon wrote:here 3 of mine, flight was Munster-Mallorca.......all images taken over germany.

Correct and the facility was converted into a tropical swimming paradise.pjgross wrote:Correct: Brand, former Russian Air Force base (MiG-27's). The big hangar belonged to Cargolifter for a big Zeppelin that was to be used as an air cargo system. Unfortunately the company went bankrupt.

I'll try a little harder if I find the time.

I know there was a topic for these sort of questions, but I can't seem to find it now.
So feel free to move.
