Your best 5 [F-I-V-E] pictures of 2007
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

And friendliness not yours..? Luckily, Eric stayed cool. Let's have a tolerant and helpful 2008!Michel wrote:Reading is not your strongest point?
Happy new year all Let's make 2008 another great year for spotting!
Here five pictures from me, not the best quality but just a few shots I'm really happy with.
1. An Ukrianian beast on AMS! Antonov 22 roaring down the taxiway onto the Sierra platform. Ahw the weather was good during 2007's spring season, this was May 2nd.
2. Heavy (!!) thunderstorms over AMS. Here is one of many lightnings just coming out the 'anvil cloud', July 9th.
3. The Flying Pentagon on short final for AMS' Aalsmeerbaan. Reason for visit was a NATO meeting held in Noordwijk, October 24th
4. Another Ukrainian beast (gosh a lot of good stuff comes from Ukraine!) thundering down at Zestienhovens runway, December 9th. (Unfortunatly in very bad conditions but I assume I got used to it!)
5. The Mad Dog's sheer power during take-off never ceases to amaze me! Even though they are not rare, I am quite pleased with the shot. SAS MD80 departing runway 24 in some nice morning sunshine, October 22nd.
Even though the thunderstorm on July 9th was a great experience, let's pray for some more sunshine in 2008
Greetings, Jan
PS: Delta12, whoa @ that sunrise!!

All the best wishes for 2008 everybody! May it turn out to be a great year in every way!
All pictures are of the last part of this year, as I just started to do some photography again.
#1: My personal favourite of the year. I really like the angle and colours on this one.
#2: My first attempt at nightshooting. Although not 100% quality, I'm rather pleased with the result.
#3: Late afternoon light is beautiful when it comes from the right direction. I'm pleased with this.
#4: Maybe slightly dark, but I think the deep blue colours of the plane come out nicely.
#5: Again, the late afternoon light does it for me with this one.
Kind regards and all the best,
Ard
