Your best 5 [F-I-V-E] pictures of 2007
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |
A small contribution from my side, offcourse mostly East European orientated..:

Everybody all the best in the new year, that we may all have good photo weather and that we all may see planes that we wish to see on the runways were we have planned to see them.
I had some time off last year, this enabled me to spend some more time doing my hobbies. Its good I went digital, otherwise it would have been an expensive year in films.
Here are some of my more unusual shots or interesting planes.
Milan Malpensa, June. No tricks this one passed between the moon and me
Milan, Bergamo last June one of the rarer planes
Paris last July. For those who like chaos. Like camouflage for civil planes
Schiphol last October, The low sun and passing dark clouds make for these splashing colors.
Dubai last November, one of the many good catches
All photos with Minolta equipment
rgds, EC

After that walhalla of pictures another humble contribution from Belgium
And a nice 2008 with lots of sunshine, the smell of kerosene and the sound of jetnoise!
greetz, Eric
1. A unique and never to be seen again formation of five teamleaders. A fantastic thank you again to the five teams for their fantastic co-orporation, and the Aalborg airshow crew; it was not easy to achieve but here it is....Patrouille de France, Patrouille Suisse, Turkish Stars, Iskra and Frecce Tricolori! Photo taken at the Aalborg Airshow, Denmark, after the trainingflights on saturday.
2. The lowest of all the low flyers that day, at the worldfamous KB Spottersday/ OIE '07. Just like the previous edition in 2005, the Danish guys gave us the best take-off show...from my point of view that is
3. My worst photoflight so far, not because of the beautifull and gracefull PC-7 team, but because of the weather. Soon after take-off it started to rain heavely and we had to abort the mission. Hey, but not before giving me just one pass over the airbase Very high ISO, but just good enough to look nice..
4. Always a lot of fun at my homebase Sanicole, wellknown for it's fantastic airshow. Here I'm flying with Toni and Walter Eichhorn for a photoshoot providing them new material for their pr-stuff. Sanicole airshow this year = july 20th
5. Russia = dangerous drivers, a good deal of chaos, giant traffic problems, absurd security. But they sure know how to make up for it, as I was invited to take photos of the MAKS salon from the best seat in da house, opposite side of the airbase. Spasiba!

Best wishes for 2008 for you all.
May we have a dry summer this year, because 2007 was a year of many dark clouds, judging my selection
Scandinavian Invader at Lelystad
Lockheed 12 at La Ferte Alais
Sunny moment at Fairford, at last !!!
Dark cloudsover Sanicole, just before a torrential rain....
This British based, US registered, French Fennec at a Belgian Air Show makes 5!
Enjoy
