Which airport is this?

Well, I thought that could be the Greek coastline. I see a city in the background, let's start with Athens. Turned out to be correct. It's the naval base south of Elefsis, complete with hovercrafts on the ramp behind the helipad. Just don't know the name.Piet Luijken wrote:Which ( small heli-operated ) airport is this?

Damn Key you are too good.
The name will be announced in the forthcoming article about the Greek Navy.
Of course all about the helicopters and not a word about the Project 1232.2 Zubr (or Pomornik class) hovercraft.
Unless anybody knows it or is quite good in Google!

You lucky b*stard. I was there myself in 1996 for a visit and a photo flight, but when (Corné Rodenburg and I) arrived at the gate, nobody was expecting us. The HQ had cancelled our visits, because there also were some British guys in the same week. The FAU couldn't handle so many visitors at the same time. All our flights were cancelled: one at Durazno plus self arranged flights in a Casa212 and Armada T-34A. Still I have some nice memories of the country and the people.Durazno, Uruguay.
