The three A-10s (81-0960, 81-0965 and 82-0646) are really former 118th FS / 103rd FW jets. With the BRAC 2005 process, the "Flying Yankees" lost their "Hogs" and got C-21s. According to the latest "Yankee Courier", the 103rd FW will become the 103rd AW on April 1, 2008 commemorated by an official re-designation ceremony on April 5, 2008. BTW: 81-0965 (together with 81-0969) flew the 103rd FW´s last operational A-10 sortie on December 28, 2007. See: http://www.103rdfighterwing.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Ghost2 Tornado GAF arrived from Buchel around 15:44LT.
07/3
RFR7060 Tornado RAF departed this morning (ATD 09:29LT) heading for RAF Lossiemouth, where it arrived at 10:56LT. This afternoon it arrived at 15:45LT at Spangdahlem. It's unclear to me if it''s the same one?
Further more two GAF Tornado's departed around 10:00LT to Norvenich. Callsigns:
Ghost ATA ETNN 11:41LT
Eifel ATA ETNN 11:47LT

Were does these come from! Anyone know how many new F-16s are delivered and how much will be delivered?91-0358 F-16CJ 22nd FS
91-0366 F-16CJ 23rd FS
I have also 91-0349, 91-0361 and 91-0388 (or is this a mix-up with above 366?) as delivered to the 52 FW. Are there more serials known?
Did 52FW receive these F-16s as 'extra' or are these here to replace older examples (and some will return to ConUS)?
Heard from a friend that some more Vipers are expected in the near future and that some were delivered last week (above two examples?).
Concerning the A-10; when will the 52FW receive the A-10C and will this mean they should receive a 'new' fleet (in the meantime)?

Will be in the neighbourhood from Spangdahlem next week. Can somebody tell me how the situation is with security or police about taking pictures from outsite the base?
Thanks for your reply.

Peter
Hi,
Please start reading the messages and you will find most answers already. Both 22nd and 23rd FS have now 4 new, ex CC 522nd FS F-16s (so 8 in total). Last tuesday, another 2 were expected, but didn't show up.
Besides, 81st FS received 3 new A-10s this year.
Regards,
Oscar
