Both the new Mi-8 and Su-22 come from the museum storage at Seifertshofen. The Polish MiG-21 was already Baarlo owned but lived at Niederrhein for a year and a half. Maybe it was only rented and now returned?

That's how he makes money out of old aircraft. The owner rent the aircraft. You can even spray them in your own colours if you like to.

To visit this place in Baarlo, contact the company at http://www.PSaero.COM" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;.

At saterday you can visit this place only when approved by the owner. Entrance is currently not free.

But his collection is amazing nice!

Seen in Baarlo was a Tornado.

The Tornado can be seen from the road (N273 / Napoleonsbaan).

Does anyone know the serial of this Tornado ?

The Tornado is not visible anymore from the road (N273 / Napoleonsbaan).

I don't know if the Tornado is still in Baarlo.

Seen yesterday in Baarlo was an Alpha Jet on a trailer. It looked like it has just arrived or this aircraft is ready to depart.

This was 40+18, destined for Montelimar in exchange for a Mirage III. It was seen roadrunning so it already left (there's a message on the board mentioning this).
So keep an eye out for the Mirage! :D

Went to Baarlo/Kessel this weekend
and saw the Islander folded in a truck. Going to ...??
Only thing visible were the blue letters "LE"

The red Mig23 wasn't there anymore or repainted.

We asked the Mr. Smedts if we could see the planes, but unfortunatly it was a mondaymorning and I didn't read this topic first ;( He didn't let us in ...

Nevertheless nice planes. I am curious of wether the museum is coming or the man just will rebuilt/paint military aircraft for selling to other museums.

Think I'll visit it in future and will track his internetsite from time 2 time.

The red MiG 23 is no longer red but dark grey and is now standing in Baarlo, as is the CL.13B and the Su22M-4 25 13. All 3 former Kessel.

Tried to make an appointment with PS Aero for a visit, Mr. Smedts however replied stating that untill further notice, no visits will be planned due to removal activities.
Does anyone know anything about this ? Thoght I heard that he has to clean out his Kessel collection, will this be moved to Baarlo?

Hi all,

While near Baarlo for a short family break, I had a quick look over the fence at Piet Smedts (no tresspassing off course...). As it was a sunday, the gates of the garage and the supermarket next door were closed, so views were very limited. The only planes noted were:

Between the garage and the first green shed:
2x Polish Mig-21's, of which one was 8909. Anybody for the other one?
1x Jaguar

Next to the garage:
1x Su-22, no wings attached

Field behind green sheds:
1x Atlantic, special mks
1x Su-22
1x Mi-8

Is there anybody who can fill in the numbers for me?

TIA
