Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |
Swiss Air Force a gogo Meiringen (part 2 included)
As promised and requested some more pictures from this wonderful week in the Suisse mountains. Thanks for all kind words and maybe enjoy some more from my shot taken.
A blazing departure, not 100% sharp but still I like this one for it's angle
Another one taking off from Rwy28
A visiting Tiger from Payerne departing for the mission with a Hornet
Just before leaving the safety area enroute to the runway
The F-5's buddy daprting the 28 as well
A Hornet arrving back at the 28. Taken a few hundred meters up at the sign 'Zaun'
It depends on how many are coming in and where you are standing. It could have been better but happy with the result from where I was standing. Same place at Zaun
Surely just as amazing as the BigBirds!! Maybe even more...
And at Payerne we struck on bad wx, with a 'bit' of heavy over photoshopping it can be quite rewarding
And the Meiringen visitor returned to Payerne
Young & old facing the cold rainy wheather
You wanna know how bad the wheather was.....
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
'Hornet02' departing runway28 making a small bank over the freeway.
We all know this sight from Meiringen
'Hornet09' steeply turning for final to runway28
Another dearture from runway28
Not too many airbases offer an almost perfect view into the pilots working environment.
Feeling hot hot hot, in spite of the cold wind
And a surprice visitor from Payerne.
Company, wheather and interests made this a very nice spotting holliday.
