Not difficult what the source is: the RAF doesn't have a Harrier display and they're the only ones using a Gr7/9

Thids year also some Singaporese A-4 Skyhawks planned like last time Leeuwarden?
Planesd will be phased out within a year or two, so... get them while we can!
Flying display A-4 would be really great!!!!

Re: A-4SU
According to a spotter I spoke this morning at de Kooy, somebody working at Leeuwarden told him they were working on a B-1 static, another one flying and the good old BUFF in the flying to. Hope anything will materialise from this

Indeed 18 years ago... They were already in the air to perform at Boscombe Down, so it was easier to have them come over.Bonzo312 wrote:A couple of years ago they had a flying buff and a B-1. I think this was in 1990 i'm not completly shure have to check my logs
I think the last appearance of a B-1 at a KLu Open Day was Gilze 2002?

Why should I put this one in this topic and not in the participants, do you think? Yes, it sounds to great to be true, but I would not have any objections if they would make just one of these three.topgun1984 wrote:you have to take this with a "korreltje zout" i guess.... because i think it's realy hard to realize... it's not RIAT ;)

We are always working to get interesting aircraft to the "Opendagen", Most of the time it works, other times we have to wait and see. Till now somebody at De Kooy is pulling you a leg. sorryaviodromefriend wrote:According to a spotter I spoke this morning at de Kooy, somebody working at Leeuwarden told him they were working on a B-1 static, another one flying and the good old BUFF in the flying to.
