Wreck
4-52/6906 and a burnt F104 carcass
Although expectations were a liitle too optimistic this was still an interesting event. Visitors arrived all in style with high speed, low passes and -sometimes complicated- ground operations could be observed from first rank. One of the Mirages was shown an alternative parking position, had to turn his back towards the crowd and opened the throttle: Spain 1 Italy 0.
Atmosphere was very enjoyable under the hot sun with so many Italian spotters! (And not too many fellow countrymen who tend to get a bit loud in the mouth especially in this phase of the tournament).
Biggest surprise was the opening up of the fences after all vistors had arrived and everyone could approach the aircraft at short distance. I'd expect to see many results appearing in various forums shortly.
A big thank you to the organizers and Happy Birthday 23 Gruppo.
