Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

A lot, but nice, interesting to see some Tonkas landing with a bit swept wings. I noticed this myself at Norvenich a while ago, so it wasn't an incident I suppose.

Very nice pics indeed.

What´s with the WW2 camo style on the Hawk??

Veeery nice special paintjobs on the two Tornado´s.

Makes you wonder why we Dutch can´t pull this off.

You sure master the art of photography, the art of selection however could use some improvement.

Some great pics of some great aircraft and paintschemes. I find it a pity though that your border (which in itself is quite nice and different) cuts of a lot of tailtips and pitot tubes.

[quote="Thermal"]Very nice pics indeed.

What´s with the WW2 camo style on the Hawk?? [quote]

It commemorates the fact that 70 years ago the first Spitfires were delivered to its first operational user, 19 squadron. The scheme on this 19(R) squadron Hawk resembles that scheme of the squadron's Spitfires from 1938, including the yellow 19 on the tail.

Ronald
