Koksijde Airday 2008 "The Show"
Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

Probably the last event this year to honour with a visit.
A good effort from the guys of Koksijde to bring us a sort of "airshow".
Only the weather was the great partypooper of the day with overcast the entire day and low clouds.

If you use the airfieldguide that you can find on the scramblewebsite you should look for the burgweg.
When you are on this road you drive towards Veurne and just before the village on your righthandside there is a small road that leads back to the airfield.
Drive in to this road and at the end you are along the taxitrack.
All you need is a small stepladder if you are not tall but I forgot mine so some shots have a bit of weed in front of them.
When you want shots of planes taxiing towards you I can highly recommend the threshold of the runway at the beginning of the Burgweg.
