Looks like Sunday will be better than Saturday.

In 2004 , there were more trouble with the parking places and on the airfield where a lot of people . I Think that it was for the safety that a lot of spectators where outside the airfield .
For this weekend i hope that the spotters that are outside the field will come and visite the aviodrome and not only come for the pictures of the start and landing of the planes .

Of course, weather can always become a problem. I just remember the July Fly-in when the saturday only saw Lelystad-based aircraft (don't know about the sunday). And as the Aviodrome always says on every outdoors event, only happening weather and technics permitting. (And of course this is not only for the Aviodrome, we have seen a lot of bad weather affected events this season )Crimson wrote:So the Ju-52 will only appear saturday, and the Dutch historic planes sunday... its a dillema, I can only visit one day!
Any trouble with the weather? They are expecting some pretty steep winds around the Ijselmeer.

Certainly not...Crimson wrote:Are all the aircraft there at 1000lt?
The Lisunov is still in Hungary, grounded because of the weather. Tomorrow morning they will try again. ETA would be somewhere in the afternoon, assuming they are not again "weathered in"...
The Junkers has arrived and even flown a sightseeing flight. Will make three local trips and leave again to Duesseldorf at 16.00 hrs.
Tomorrow PH-PBA will set her wheels on Lelystad soil, weather dependant of course. Sunday PH-DDZ is also supposed to visit Flevoland.
The Douglas A-26B Invader crew still plans to go to Holland. This aircraft will go back to Scandinavia (Norway?) Sunday afternoon. But if the weather is too bad she may not take off at all...
Sunday will see the arrival and departure of the Mitchell and other aircraft from Gilze-Rijen.
There is no talk at all about the Norwegian Dakota...
