Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

@herky, Nice photos. Were you one the of the people that got sent away from the 747 stairs, just short of the arrival of the B-25?

Yes I was, together with the two Spanish photographers.

A finding-himself-very-important-person of Aviodrome was bleating about security, safety and more of this crab.
When he couldn't win he called an even more FHVIP.
We were treated like little children.
"Otherwise you will be removed from the field" :grumble:

I agree that some people take 'the rules' a bit litterally, but I've been sent away sometimes before. At that time it had to do something with too many people on those stairs providing an unsafe situation. So I just left, no hard feelings. At the Aviodrome there's plenty of good spots for taking pictures (the top of the stairs being one of the best, like the tower at the 1928 airport building).

Let's not create a big fuzz about this, lots of volunteers at the Aviodrome work for us, the aviation enthuasiast, to let us enjoy the old birds...

Well I was only a short time (5 minutes) on the stairs, only to photograph the landing B-25 from above. While it was on final I was sent away.
No argument possible with this guy. That was bordering me.

I agree the volunteers do a good job, apart from an individual.
