Just found a box with all kinds of b&W negatives. Here's one of them. The quality is poor (I know), the subject isn't. hope you like it!Image

and another two. Target towing was common in those days, hence different squadrons could be seen with target towing equipment including this Phantom from Ramstein, somewhere in the seventies.....ImageImage[/img]

and sometimes it went wrong like with this AMI G91Y which had a nosegear failure. The date I don't know exactly but should be around 1990.

And that mishap costed us two more Ginas! Four were scheduled that day, but the second one kissed the runway. The other two went somewhere else (I believe Volkel).

On request of Peter, not the best quality, it's a scan from a negative.

Another two negatives from SSB, 28 December 1981, damn it was cold that day. We went by public transport (from rotterdam), so no warm car.
At that time they still flew between x-mas and new year, other's seen this day 2 KLu NF5B 's and 8 CR Eagles.

Hi guys,

Good shots again, in snow conditions, very cold I think...
I found two slides made during a last call in October 1993, starting with a Harrier GR5 ZG859/P from 20sq/233OCU in approach:
Image

second pic is F-15B 76-0127/CR in late afternoon take off and caught from off the base during a visit.

An old scan of an old photo (1980), made on the arrival of 8 CF-104s. This CF-104D of 439sq was the best of them all.
