Post by Polecat »

Many countries have a serial system that can result in 'funny regs, or more common, in names as regs.
Maybe nice to start a fun thread on this..

a few to start with....

PH-OTO is a Schweizer 269C
PH-ONE doesn't exist (anymore!)
PH-ILL also doesn't exist (anymore!)
PH-ONE was a Jodel DR.1050 Ambassadeur, based at Hilversum (I think). (It became D-EAFC in 1971). The registration has been reserved for a Asso Champion V since 2003...
PH-ILL was a Cessna-172P Skyhawk-II, based at Lelystad. I have a slide of it somewhere. (It became G-BYEA 10 years ago)
PH-OTO has also been used on a Fokker F.VIII, another Fokker F.VIII and a Auster J/1 Autocrat...

(most of this info came from: http://www.hdekker.info/registermap/reg1.htm

Come on guys, a "D-HANS" would be appreciated (either the Bell 206, the Agusta 109 or the BK117). :bdaygreen:
