There should have been at least 12 F-15 or F-16 aircraft arriving today at Moron. Another cell is still straggling behind. Any ideas of units or serials?

JJ,
I think the other three will be:
90-0240
90-0254 marked 366OG
91-0319
These final six should have arrived at Moron today as Mazda51 but I can't confirm that.

Mark

Re: Morón (de la Frontera, Sevilla) (LEMO) - 2009
Thank you, Mark! And keep up your good work! Looks like the 391st EFS had really deployed 18 jets. Hmmm... KIVI-TV Today's 6 only reported: "About 15 pilots of F15E Strike Eagle jets will be returning separately..." Source: http://www.kivitv.com/Global/story.asp?S=9677294" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
But this news media story provided some exclusive background info: "During the deployment, the Bold Tigers flew more than 1,700 combat missions and accumulated approximately 7,000 flying hours while providing close-air support for U.S. and coalition ground troops engaged in combat operations throughout the country, the Air Force said. The Bold Tigers delivered more than 131,000 pounds of ordnance and were credited with directly saving coalition ground forces on numerous occasions."

Hi,
The final 391FS F-15s returned from Moron to Seymour Johnson AFB this evening as
Mazda 61-66 with KC-10 Blue 11. One of the F-15s declared an inflight emergency.
Hope this helps,
RH.

Re: Morón (de la Frontera, Sevilla) (LEMO) - 2009
I hope someone can help me on a reg of this aircraft!
At about 1840 i heard this roar go over, loooked out my window (I'm 5 miles south of SVQ) and saw what i THINK was a typhoon. It probably came out of Moron and was heading in a westerly direction. Now i'm not the best at distinguishing between military jets so i could be wrong! Definately looked like one though!
Anyone got any idea what it was and the reg of it??
Thanks
Chris
