Hi all,
I just returned from a holiday trip in Eastern Africa. We visited Mauritius, The Seychelles, Kenya, Réunion and, my personal highlight, Madagascar! Some nice animals were seen during the trip so here is a small selection of my pictures. All pictures are made in 'The Wild'.
Kenya -Tsavo East National Park
Somewhere on the Indian Ocean

Phantom, or anyone that knows. The elephants in your pictures (especially the first of 2 elephant pics) look rather red, what causes this? Have they been in some 'mud bath' what dried on their skin or something? 'Cause afaik, elephants are grey

Elephants throw sand and dirt on themselves to protect their skin from the sun and insects, if you see the other pics. the sand is very red overthere (red sand means a lot of iron/rust in the sand)Phantom, or anyone that knows.
