Re: Düsseldorf (EDDL/DUS) - 2009
Somon Air 738 is planned for 16:25. Because of a lot of Stops before the arrival it will maybe have a bit delay, so I think it will come around 16:40 - 17:15 local time.
Note : From 15:00 local time you have to photograph against the sun when you are standing on one of the visitor decks. Maybe its better to take a ladder and go the other side of the airport. Weather should be ok, lot of clouds, Sun for 3 hours in the morning.
Good Luck for all
Departure will be on Saturday, 21, after 18:00 local time. So it will be the best when you are going to the airport on thursday/friday/saturday (morning) and photograph it when it park next to the visitors deck at railway station.

Re: Düsseldorf (EDDL/DUS) - 2009
I wanted to drive now to Dusseldorf because of the Somon 738 and I called a friend who is working in the tower, ETA is at the moment 18:15 local time, so I will stay at home..... sorry for all guys who drive from the Netherlands to Germany! .... And it seems like its not parking next to the railway station, at the moment is planned V65. I think it's in front of the OLD Terminal which you can see a bit from the visitors deck on the Terminal. When It should really park there, no chance to photograph....

Re: Düsseldorf (EDDL/DUS) - 2009
It is now planned at 17.55 and Somon Air will be parked at V31 so that should be anywhere next to the railway station and if there isn't another plane parked in front of it a picture is possible
Re: Düsseldorf (EDDL/DUS) - 2009
Actual Information directly from DUS Tower (16:59 local time)
ETA 18:10
Parking at the moment, not sure. should be V31, 32, 33 or 34. V31 next to the railway station, 32-34 are new positions in front of the LTU Maintenance, so no prob to photograph
And another Information :
Former LTE "VW Tiguan" (now EI-EDD) is in Maintenance Hall in complete FlyAngels colors. Anyone know something about this company?

Re: Düsseldorf (EDDL/DUS) - 2009
I noticed the D-ALTE to DUS a few times at SBS today. Info at SBS says it is a CRJ700.
I only know the D-ALTE as an A320.
Does this serial belongs to a CRJ700 since a week or is this a failure in the SBS system?
Rene

Good afternoon,
Once again I went to Düsseldorf on a day-trip by train on Wednesday, February 18th.
