To design a flying machine is nothing. To build one is something. But to fly is everything.

Got some. Will scan them later. Apart from Bentlage 85, never seen so much rain during an air show!

Hmmm......was it as bad as the D-Day 50th Anniversary Photocall at RNAS Yeovilton, in July 1994 ? Yeovilton was like an aquarium that day....!

After Hopsten I had to buy a new passport. Although I had it wrapped in plastic in a raincoat all day. It was soaked and my picture was gone.

The best advise for a trip to the USA, rent a truck and take folding stairs with you....

No problems to take landingshots at Orange County, Leendert Lamers and Ton Jochems in Nov. 2007 ... :D

Pretty cold but clear at Victorville, me onto our rental Ford Nov. 2007

As the fence is 3 meters high you do need some preparation for the best landingshots at Las Vegas..Leendert Lamers, me and Ton Jochems Nov. 2007

The second best way to transport yourself on the Lanseria ramp (half a year later we simply used our own car) Peter van Stelle, Leendert Lamers and Ton Jochems 2006
Image

A DC4 not positioned for a perfect picture? No problem, just arrange for a tow truck and some friendly groundstaff to turn the old lady just as we wanted her for the perfect shot..! Ton Jochems at Rand 2006

There's worse places in the world to spend your day.......Ton Jochems and me on a sunny day airside at JNB in 2006
