Which settings did you use of your 400D? I tried it also with my 400D but I didn't get it right.
Thanks

What a weather last night!
Made some pics here at Hoofddorp.
1. 22:05 incoming storm! (looking south)
2. 22:05 incoming storm! (looking southeast)
3. 23:45 not the best picture due to my (in dutch 'hor') in front of the window. But you can see the scary cloud, and some lightning.
Regards,
Jerrie

Just two from me, one more atmospheric, one incredible lightning though shot from behind glass with lots of drips on it.
I never experienced anything like the storm that passed around 4AM, the 4th one. I was rather joking about 'the supercel' in my previous post, but it definitely was one!!!

Yes it was very scary for some minutes. Never expected our dovecot could fly instead of the pigeons, but it sure didJan Stol wrote: I never experienced anything like the storm that passed around 4AM, the 4th one. Better get rid of your other Canon stuff then!Thijs wrote:no edit, straight from my Ixus.
As Nuckleuz already covered Delft-centre (too bad EWI was not struck), I took pictures from Midden-Delfland (yes, I live in Tanthof ). The first storm was a bit too heavy so I had to wait (and dry) till the arrival of the second storm for this picture.
