... and, on the positive side: sunny intervals for Saturday. Does that ring a (2008) bell somewhere :?:

Well, I don't like the rain predections for Thursday and Friday. I hope the Thames can deal with that amounts, else we might see another cancellation of the show  (Last year a local told me, that was the main problem, not the amount that fell, just the infrastructure couldn't handle it).

I have learned that forecast reading is waste of time because we can't change weather.

The main problem in 2008 was not the rain that fell in the days leading up to the show, but the problem started with the rain that fell in the months before the show. The water tables were already too high mid-July, which meant that the rain which fell during the final week had nowhere to go. This year, the weather in the region has been a lot drier apparently, so even if there is heavy rainfall, I doubt we'll see a repeat of last year's cancellation. People should stop reacting so hysterically just because of a spot of rain.

I wont be there with you guys, but i`l be praying to the weather gods that last years weather will skip Fairford this year :)

Don`t know if any of you went to the 1989 IAT, we had 35-38 celcius temperatures  and no clouds then, trust me clouds and a spot of rain every now and then > 35C+ weather

I remember Boscombe Down '92 for being hot as hell and having planes everywhere.

Not going to Fairford this year, but wishing everyone a good time!
