RAF Lakenheath, 15-07-2009
Hi all,
After a succesfull serie of the Salisbury Plain, i like to publish another great day during
my UK trip. On July 15 RAF Lakenheath was on my program. At this great base was a
big exersize going on, because of that we had non stop action from 08.00 till 22.00LT.
After the 25 different Eagle i decided to stop counting them xD A very nice day at this
great base. Specially the shots after 17.00 are nice because of the perfect position of
the sun ^^ Hope you all like my shots =]

Re: RAF Lakenheath, 15-07-2009
In my experience when every squadron is at home this non-stop flying is just normal ops not even an exercise. 30+ birds is no exception. You can say whatever you want about those yanks, but they do pull more sorties than a typical other NATO base in Western Europe And LN is just a 6 hour drive, I am wondering why I don't go there more often..

As usual excellent images Alex! Very well done, you always manage shots that somehow present something different, sharp, colourful and nice angles.
The best of these and a small article please, you know where to send it...
