Sunday 2 August

Retro11, 5 x AMX are possibly MM7114, 7129, 7160, 7165 and MM7169.

You will see that MM7160 and MM7169 are quoted on Retro21 as well so visual confirmation is still required.

these are the correct serials for the 10 AMX.

MM7177 51-42
MM7186 51-50

One of the Italian AMX serials at Lajes must have been mis-read as MM7174 / 51-60 arrived at Nellis as part of the detachment but wasn't listed as part of the 10 aircraft on 'GPs' report.

4 Prowlers are leaving lajes in this morning as Mazda 61-64. Someone confirm if is the right call sign?

4 A-10 are landed on Lajes on Friday as Mazda 81-84.

Cheers!

All of these 23rd Fighter Group / 23rd Wing jets are returning to Moody AFB, Georgia, after their Operation Enduring Freedom combat deployment at Bagram AB, Afghanistan. On their way back home to CONUS, they already made stopovers at Al Udeid AB, Qatar, and Sigonella, Sicilly.

Anybody who can/will tell me their departure dates from Lajes? I would be very grateful for any support.

The VAQ-142 Prowlers were Trend 61-64, and they returned to Whidbey Island today.

Hope this helps,

A-10s should have been Retro58 from Spangdahlem. 2 unmarked A-10s left Spang yesterday.

Kind regards,
