Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Did anybody take some shots of the Air Transat A332 that left today for Calgary?
I think it left between 1830 and 1900 hrs.

Thanks.

My first airplane-photo with the EOS 50D..

The BGE at F.8, ISO 200, 1/500 with my bad Canon 90-300mm 4,5/5,6.

I think the colors are good, but she's not sharp at all..

@Lifeliner4

Note this is an English only area :wink:

Note 2, thumbnails are not allowed, so please post them just like your first picture. And regarding your first picture, maybe you could resize it to 1200*800 which is common here.

@ Lifeliner

Your pics aren't bad for a first time with the new 50D. The other pictures are probably run through a processing program like Photoshopo or Lightroom.. That's why they look a bit differently. For example, your horizons are not straight and white balance is not adjusted. That would improve your shots already some bit. Try it.. And practice a lot!

Your photos aren't bad either Lifeliner. Like Andras said, a bit of editting would improve them. But you're off to a nice start.

But the problem is, I've got a new iMac, and have to work with Apeture, which sucks.
There is no "auto white balance" and no Horizon "setter".

Cool all that new stuff.. You probably live in the Utrecht area?

I don't know Aperture, but I guess if you can crop than you can also turn your crop window which will set the horizon?
And Auto white balance is not really good to go. Try finding a pipetje and klick a grey area. Programs like Aperture work with "grey" color as to the camera looking for the "white" (correct me if I'm wrong..)
