Göteborg Aero Show 2009, August 29-30

The website for this year's Swedish airshow is now updated with a preliminary aircraft list: http://www.aeroseum.se/english/goteborgaeroshow

The big news is the "back from the dead" return of the Team 60 Swedish Air Force display team.

The Gripen and the classic SAAB jets will display, as well as Mikael Carlsons new Fokker DR-1 replica (and there's also an Alouette III for you Dutch guys! )

Over 60 aircraft already... and more may come...

Last year airshow was realy great.im looking forward to this year show.But can we expect some planes from europe?are any other invited?like other cool fighterplanes?Anyone knows?

Sorry to inform that the Draken is still grounded.

It has been a close call for Team 60 as well, but now it is decided that they will perform at the show (their only display this year and the first one for many years!)

It was a great show this year also.Great to see the Team 60 again.Nice work :)I read that it is 100th year of aviation next year so i hope it will be even bigger and some international planes as well.see you next year.

The big show next year in Sweden, will be in Malmslätt at 13th of June

Brief overview of the Swedish airshows 2010:

The airshow at Malmslätt (Linköping) on June 13 will be a national military show.

The Göteborg Aero Show over the weekend of August 28-29 will be an international military & civil show.

Both events are part of the 100th Anniversary of Swedish Aviation. These celebrations 2010 will also include a city event in Stockholm and a local airshow in Ljungbyhed.
