Hi All,
Just back from my first USA trip. What a great place is this!!
It was a hoiliday with my girlfriend combined with some spotting.
We had some nice visits during our trip and unfortunately some were cancelled on the last moment.
Most time we had great weather but also some heavy rains at places you wouldn't expect it.
Serials which are not readed by our selves are placed between quotes ( ) and taken from other logs or databases.
Hope you enjoy part 2 of this LOG:

Spotting at Sheppard AFB is not that difficult, that landing is perfect to spot and there is also a great view over the base on a hill.
Unfortunately the weather was terrible here and after all the tallons came in they stopped flying......

A little visit was arranged here. Not that much but very nice.
The unit also has 2 x C-12 and 3 x OH-58C but they were flying.
Who can confirm their units?? The UH-60's all were a sign off spades with a T in it.
From outside spotting is also easy.

Any help with the commanders is very welcome!!
T-6 208 and 209 are photo proof FY 05.....so what FY is 848??
Spottting here is also quite simple. Only problem is they use 2 runways far from eachother, so you have to decide which you take.
T-6's flew from one, the rest from the other runway.
Places were we spotted the based stuff here were:

29°31’48.50’’N 98°15’34.58’’W
29°32’37.47’’N 98°16’07.20’’W
Till so far part two, part three will follow soon.
Of course all help, corrections or questions are welcome.
I want to thank everybody who helped me how to spot at the bases I visited, but a special thanks goes to Danny Bonny who gave me a perfect guide for every base!
Happy Spotting in the USA,
Gips and girlfriend

Hi Gips,
I've got the following commanders:
KSPS SHEPPARD AFB 27-07-09:
T-38C USAF 80th FTW multi "COM 80th FTW"
This is the 66-8380/EN. Last noted by myself on 30 May, 2009.
KRND RANDOLPH AFB 29-07-09:
T-1A USAF 99th FTS black/yellow white "COM 12th FTW"
This is most likely the 92-0359/RA. Last noted by myself on 14 May, 2006.
T-1A USAF 99th FTS black/yellow white "COM 99th FTS"
This is most likely the 91-0099/RA. Last noted by myself on 14 May, 2005.
T-38C USAF 560th FTS black/white "COM 560th FTS"
This is a tricky one. Two options available. The 68-8124/RA last noted by myself on 21 April, 2007 or the 70-1951/RA last noted by myself on 22 July, 2005.
Cheers,
Tally.
