Re: Tribute to the A-10 'Warthog'
So, rescanned the old slides again, and removed a lot of dust.
While doing this, I found a rather cr%ppy slide.. but reading the description on the frame let my heart skip a beat..
The original frame has the following remarks on it:
50258/WA & 50262/WA, A-10A 66FWS/51TTW. The second line: BTW: 17-02-1976.
Slide was framed in England.. Was this shot taken at Bentwaters??
Rest is a repost of the first series

Re: Tribute to the A-10 'Warthog'
Repost of the Hog with cold feet.
On some occasions you just know you've packed the wrong camo for the job
Oh Tom, to get back on the canned air, I found another trick.
Bought me a photo cleaning kit, for use on camera equipment. It has a large silicone blower packed with it.
Squeeze it, and you will get a lot of air out of it.. blows most of the dust off

Nicely stenciled at Pope 1995
Re: Tribute to the A-10 'Warthog'
This photo isn't from the best angle, but the aircraft has 70th Anniv markings and the sky is pretty. 78-0646 of the 118FS/103FG CT ANG at Volk ANGB, WI., 21 July 1994
