Hi Hans,
Yes....they changed it...from 100 km to unlimited
Look at the next link
http://www.budget.nl/budgetonline/nl/bu ... aanbieding" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It's with unlimited mileage...also for a one day rental. Last July we have used it for a trip to Fairford. Let's hope it stays with unlimeted mileage...

One way to get around this is not book the car in the country you want to rent it. I always book car rental for Netherlands in Denmark and book car rentals in Denmark in The Netherlands. That way it is free milage with any mayor rental company.Hans wrote:With pick-up in the Netherlands? Then they reversed that at some point, they used to have limited mileage (100km/day or something like that) in the past, just like all others...MISOS wrote:At this moment it's possible to rent a car with Budget with unlimited mileage.
All the best, Michael

Re: Cheap travel
For my work, I often use http://www.holidaycars.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; when I need to book a rental car. This will show you all the international rental companies on a certain destination with special rates per car class. Just be aware that booking through this site might give you some limitations (e.g. different drop-off than pick-up only with a minimum rental period of 3 days).

While I lived in China, I used http://english.ctrip.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; a few times.

Hi,
New site which shows all routes within Europe (only direct flights): http://nl.airtraffic.eu/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Re: Cheap travel

Re: Cheap travel
This website is based on a database not on a search engine.
As a result it will show what is programmed, notwhat is actual.
also the fares are standard values per airline.
All KLM flights departing Amsterdam are indicating "from 208 euro"
even on routes no longer operated by KLM.

Another organisation from Wallon isBelgium
http://www.spottertrips.eu" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, in cooperation with Dream Holidays/Malou Express
http://www.airshowtrips.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;, cooperation with Staf Tours.
There also used to be another group from Walonie (Association de Fanatiques d'Aviation Militaire), but they seem to be out of business.
http://www.firebirds.be/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; . This year they haven't got many trips on offer it seems.

Re: Cheap travel
http://www.skyscanner.net/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; always works for me. Takes all the others (Expedia, not-so-Cheaptickets etc etc) into account

Re: Cheap travel
Hi,
Budgettravel.com had an on-line poll for your favourite this and that's.
Those included the following two lists, which I found rather handy;
Favorite site for reviews
Do you get what you expect? Or do you get more, unwanted, "features" with the hotel you book?
Only the top five here;
Polls are a bit U.S. orientated, but hope it still is of some use.
Cheers,
H

- http://www.kayak.com (910 votes, and my favourite, as it checks most of the others!)

Re: Cheap travel
Anybody got a comprehensive list of the low cost chains in the USA? Think Motel 6, Super 8 and the like.
