Black day
Actually, the air show of the Polish Air Force on the airfield in Radom should have become one of our highlights in the season 2009. Nevertheless, it ended abruptly in a tragedy.
On Sunday at 13.17h a Belarusian SU-27UBM crashed shortly after the beginning of the performance in striking distance to the airport. The cause is still unexplained.
Both crew members lost their life in this accident. The catapult seats were activated too late; presumably to save human life on the ground.
We would like to extend our sincere condolences to the families of the killed pilots.

Hi everyone - Just catching up with processing of my 2009 photos, some from Radom for a good start. The sad ones went elsewhere
