Coronado's were a common sight at Schiphol in those days ('70's), Swissair, Spantax, like this one

Nice subject, I dont really have High Quality pic's.. But They're fun anyway!

It's copyrighted on my name.. It's supposed to be Fred Schäfer. But that happened automaticly when I uploaded it to Picasa.. Oops. And I don't know what's up with the dubble Copyright stuff either..

Great shots by your father, Jeffrey. The practicality of the B.727's design is obvious in the Mallorca shot with the people boarding the integral airstairs.
Here is one that was seldom seen in the States. This is the Aerospatiale SN-601 Corvette, powered by JT15D engines, photographed arriving for Pratt & Whitney's 40th Anniv. show at Rentschler Field, E. Hartford, CT on 3 October, 1975. Only 40 of these aircraft were built, this one is shown with the 77-Gal tip tanks.

BAC 111 of Mohawk Airlines landing at Bradley AP, CT., 1970. The company graphic (an American Indian in profile with headress)
denoted the geographic region of the USA that the airline served, though it would surely be considered "politically incorrect" today.
