Re: ETAR 15-11-2009
Yes indeed, very early. Didn't expect to see him as I was only planning to stay from 1 till 3 or something.
But here is the log;

KC-135R ????? Red tailband (I read this as 37880, but this serial doesn't exist...anyone?)
Also 3 "RS" C-130J's and a Grey coloured C-37 were seen but not read!
Remarkable day. Quite a busy two hours. At least for a sunday. Checked two times, once by the USAF police, who showed almost no interest at all. Second time by the German police who told me that photography at all was prohibited. Luckily I forget such things immediately but the guy just choose the moment the C-5 arrived! Bad timing!
When I arrived at 12:55 there was allready a queue for the runway. 2 x C-17's, 1 x C-40, 1 x L-100 and 1 x C-21. The last one hit the throttles exactly at 13:00h.
The March tanker made quite an impressive take off and climb out, just as much as the strange approach the 07-7181 flew!
Short, but interesting day. And together with Spangdahlem quite a Tanker galore!

Re: ETAR 15-11-2009
Hi Eric,
Thanks for the log.
About the 412 TW KC-135R. This one had a red tail. Is that new? I believe they flew with black or blue with white!

Hi Mate,
Got private answer back, that apparently the list above is not from Eric, but he received it "from someone on base".... So for anybody wondering if all coud be seen from outside this was not the case.
Cheers,
Oscar
Ps: and indeed most were hangared by that time...

Re: ETAR 15-11-2009
Seems that whether police or polizei try it over and over again. That trick when they say that taking pictures is not allowed. Planes on final are no military infrastructure according to my opinion.
