Re: Cold War USAFE
Ah great memories of the TAM88!! Nice to see some pictures again!
Here's an addition. I took this slide one on July 16th, but the F-16 sadly crashed just 10 days later.
Cheers,
Peter

Eindhoven 1993
Gilze 1992
Leeuwarden 199?
Sad to see so much hardware has left this side of the ocean and most of it parked in a dessert or already scrapped.

Oh no!!
Only exuse I can think of is that it is shot on an USAFE base, but that is not a very good one, I know. Was too focussed on the 111 part...
Won't happen again

Peter

Two TR-1As of 95th RS at Alconbury. These photos were taken in September 1986 from outside the fence, very close to the TR-1 area.

I'll let you do the unit identification on this F-102A, some of you will know it better than I. It is presented here as a large image, as a tribute to those who knew what they were doing with B&W film back when. I scanned this from a a print made from a 4X5" negative about 12 years ago. The clouds, the aircraft, the scene, I think it fits the thread pretty well. What do you think? It's likely this photo has not been seen publicly before.
