While selecting my seat for my flight to Hong-Kong, I noticed on the seat map that the small economy section in the front (rows 10-19) has been largely removed. The galley seems to be reduced in size, leaving only a few rows in the small cabin left. Does anybody know if this has to to with the new Economy-Comfort class?
I aimed for a seat on row 21, next to the exit, which usually gives lots of leg room. Is this still the case now there are new rows in front of them?
Thanks in advance!

The entire forward section (Rows 9-18) is now Economy Comfort.

Row 21 should not be affected, also the galleys have not been changed.
Only the seat pitch for the 'economy plus' has been amended, so some seats have been taken out to provide for the extra legroom. This affects rows 9 thru 18.

When selecting my seat, the cabin lay-out looks like this:
There seems to be extra chairs in row 15 to 20..

No way denying these seats are shown but they definately do not exist in real life, there are no extra seats in that area.
Between row 9 and 17 it's 5 abreast, it's the area between door 1 and 2.

So, also no chairs between on rows 18, 19 and 20 I suppose?
By the way, how to reserve a Economy Comfort chair, I don't see any options for that on the website?

Maybe because you need an economy comfort ticket for that?

I'm not sure. I did not get that option while booking. According to the website it is possible to upgrade to economy comfort with the online tool..but no such option there also...
