Re: 104's
Nice scans !
Almost six years ago, on December 11th, 2003, Michael Schumacher raced an EF2000 with his F1 Ferrari at Grosseto and 4 Stormo had six Starfighters on static. These are four of them.

Re: 104's
2 nice formations.
First one: NF5A's K-3042 & K-3025 (both 315 Squadron) together with F104S MM3807/36-11 & MM6705/36-14 (both 12 Gruppo).
This was during a squadronrotation in June/July 1983 at Twenthe.
Second formation shows Sea Hawk FGA6 WV908/188-A of the FAA Historical Flight leading F104G's 26+76 and 21+26.
The two Tornado's are not readable. This slide was taken during the Open House at Schleswig-Jagel on the 7th of July 1985.

Re: 104's
From the 1st of August till the 9th of August 1984 20th Stormo from Grosseto rotated with 313 Squadron at Twenthe.
The 104's concerned where: TF104G's MM54226/20-14 & MM54256/20-21, and F104G's MM6523/20-31 & MM6561/20-35.
The 20-31 didn't fly during the rotation because he landed with problems with his flaps and stayed on the ground for repairs.

Re: 104's
Hi Stephan. What a coincedence ! Do you remember that day well ?Stefan wrote: En van de andere kant gezien:

I certainly do. It was August the 6th 1984. I even did caught the 104-sounds on tape that day.
There was also a F104G from Volkel, the D-8063. He had a UFO-badge.
For our younger audience, UFO stands for "UitFaserings Onderdeel" and was the former CAV (Conversion and All-weather Vlucht).
Those where the days man ! Too bad I had a crappy camera with crappy lenses.

Re: 104's
On June the 22nd 1995 a spottersday was organised by Twenthe Public Affairs to give the spotters an opportunity to photograph the F104S-ASA's which where on a squadron-exchange with 313 Squadron.
They where F104S's MM6762/5-37, MM6771/5-31, MM6849/5-33 and the MM6920/5-35. All four from 23 Gruppo (Cervia).
The MM6849/5-33 didn't fly that day.
