Re: Your best photo of 2009 (only one)
It's hard to choose the one I like most. Should I choose the best composition, the coolest aircraft, the most interesting experience, the most spectacular shot, or, or or........ I decided on a nice mix, with this F-16AM from Chile. The aircraft involved is 724, ex-KLu F-16A J-878, photographed over the driest desert in the world, the Atacama desert in Chile. For me this particular photo represents several nice things together: Great opportunity (air-to-air), nice trip (Chile), nostalgia (old F-16, new life), lovely memories. I hope you like the photo by itself......
Cheers, and I hope you all have a great 2010 with many nice photo opportunities
Iwan

Re: Your best photo of 2009 (only one)
Only one! That is tough - so I'll join in.
I may be biased because this is from my most recent trip, but it certainly is one of the most rewarding shots for me this year. I set out with this image in mind, the plane has a lot of aspects I am excited about and it took some effort. On the other hand, anyone there can make it. A turbo tracker on final for Pingtung North, Taiwan.
A big for all the posters of so many wonderful images on this board, in this topic and many others. Great!

My highlight was taken while enjoying the sun and local people on the beachfront near Tripoli in the great Jamahiriya.
