I think it is used to check Gas pipe or voltage transportation.

Koksyde somewhere in the 80's .

In 2005 I made some pictures of a Mil Mi-26T at the Russian helicopter base of Torzhok in the Tver-region. It was even possible to take some photo's inside the helicopter!
