Re: FUN: This is how we work......
Hi Rob,
Just curious: Were you the guy who was holding his camera in front of his belley, and looking into it from the top (or so it seemed) ?
Cheers,
Iwan

Sounds like that must have been Rob indeed. He uses a Sony A and to my taste that is a very nice gadget on the camera, which Canon and the N-word are still lacking...

By your description, it could be handy if you would like to shoot over the heads of bystanders of e.g. a Queen's Day parade or whatever.Iwan Bogels wrote:

That would be possible by turning the cam upside down and holding it over your head.
Hans.

On this Sony cam, you can pop up the rear display. It works like the old fashioned angle finder, this time on a large screen with live view. Works really nice and I still wonder why 'with Canon you can't...'.

Re: FUN: This is how we work......
I have been spotted! By Ad Lobbrecht.
I want this to be mentioned first: ALL rights are with the photographer: Ad Lobbrecht, I only show this pic because I'm on it. And Mr Lobbrecht, if you have objections with this picture over here. Please tell me, I'll delete it.
I'm the one on the left. With the short hair!
And right beside me is scramble-member 757flyer. A.K.A Olmo Müller!
Mr. Lobbrecht, thankyou for the accidental spotting me! haha.
Kind regards, Jeffrey.

Actually it doesn't, even if the N has a nice gadget, it still is a toy cameraPaul van der Linden wrote:Auw, this hurts, doesn't it Mo!Hans Rolink wrote:Like so?Maurice wrote:On this Sony cam, you can pop up the rear display. That's correct. Camera is the SonyA350: http://www.dpreview.com/news/0801/08013 ... 300350.asp" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
I am using the tilting TFT LCD with liveview very often, especially for pictures like this one (over the fence):
or like this one (low point of view):

Hi...
Still haven't been there, is there a specific day to go over there or is it something like a lottery to go there and just hope something shows up?
Grtz.

Is that picture taken at the Slopes?Javindo50 wrote:and another (sneaky) one from 14-01-10 @ Gilze-Rijen:

Nope, this was on-base during the "GRAS Snow Photo Opportunity". The photo spot for the Slopes is located outside the fence, and that hill can only facilitate a few people at a time.Zipper wrote:Hi...

Flying activities at the Slopes are a lottery indeed. It's like old fashioned spotting: You never know what you will get. Some days are great, others don't see any action at all.
Good luck,
Iwan

What's more interesting? Old Faithfull doing her thing, or the ''Marine One'' fleet practicing a day prior to the arrival of President Obama at Yellowstone National Park?
A lot of people were watching the heli's and turning their back to Old Faithfull! Just like me...
Kind Regards, Jeffrey.
