Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Nice first attempt but may I suggest you post your pictures in the correct thread?
There is a specific Photo Forum viewed by plenty of people who can help you out with tips, tricks and hints (first tip, try to avoid light poles  ).

edit Marco, topic moved to the right section.

I've got to ask; why do you post so much words in capital letters in all of your messages?

not bad for a first attempt but I agree with Petra; you should be more carefull chosing your location with respect to the sunlight... backlight pictures can be nice but mostly it's disturbing, also be more aware of your timing. Those things, and many others like camera settings etc, you will learn by doing, looking, posting, reading comments etc. I have been taking pictures of aircraft for quite some years and still learn on almost every occasion.
There are numerous fora on the internet with regards to (aircraft-)photography which can help you out with the basics and more...

Hey dvdzee,

First... thanks for sharing your pictures. There are a lot of people on Scramble who can give you some suggestions to improve your pictures!
I want give you the tip to photograph the planes on the ground. The planes are just a small "spot" on your pictures. If you take your photographs
on the runway, you can fill the complete picture with the plane. Now, they are too far away of you, so there aren't a lot of details to see. I think
that's not what you want. If you crop these pictures on your computer, the quality will be bad. During landings, you can get very close to the planes,
and then you can catch them in the air. That shouldn't be a problem...

And other people told you before, light is very important. Photographing is "writing with light". So use it on the right way.

Good luck with your new camera! Oh, and learn how to work with it. Then you'll get the best results ;)

Hi,

my tip; try to get your horizon level...
And, if you haven't it level in the original picture, you can edit that part easily afterwards on your computer with any photo-editing software.

Regards,
Eric

According to the EXIF-information he use a Fujifilm Finepix S2000HD or a S2100HD.

With the photos I agree with Polleke. Just learn, shoot much pictures and you'll see your photos will become better!
