I missed this Canadian bird. In which year you shot this one?

Haha, nice shots...
Great quality for such old scans, how do you keep them this clear after all those years? All the shots made by my Grandpa in the late '80s and '90s are faded and the colors are bad... Can I scan them in with better quality?
Great shots,
Martijn

Hi Martijn, after scanning it takes me a lot of Photoshop to get the scans better: color, contrast, removing dust, hairs, scratches etc. But the results are nice for these old negs or slides.Martijn. wrote:Haha, nice shots...

From time to time the Royal Air Force also visited their colleagues of the 32nd TFS:

And to supply the Kebab-restaurants in the Soesterberg area, some Turkish transport planes were flown in.

Great shots again Dick.
The RAF F-4's were regular visitors, the Turkish transports were not! Kebab wasn't very common those days. Everybody was eating fries from Buitenhuis or junkfood from "the SRV man".

How 'bout Snackbar De Zon? (I seem to remember that name as a Soesterberg snackbar.)HansDrost wrote:Everybody was eating fries from Buitenhuis or junkfood from "the SRV man".

Re:
