ik heb ergens gehoord dat misschien de nieuwe toekomstige A380-800 voor Malesya Airways, WMKK/KUL - EHAM/AMS - WMKK/KUL?

De baas van Malaysia heeft vorige week in een interview aangegeven dat de A380 (eind 2011 komt de eerste) naar LHR en CDG ingezet zou worden..AMS kwam niet voor in het rijtje, dus ik zou er voorlopig niet op rekenen..

KLM has released a new Summer 2010 timetable for the route AMS-DXB-AMS in response to the arrival of Emirates (May 2010) and GARUDA (June 2010) on the route.

Instead of reducing capacity, KLM has elected to increase both passenger and freight capacity to DXB through the use of larger aircraft (B747-400M) and an increase in frequency of 3x flights/week.

- AMS 11:00 DXB 19:30 GA 89 A330-200 Daily
- AMS 14:05 DXB 22:30 KL 0427 B747-400M Daily (was B777-200ER)
- AMS 15:30 DXB 23:59 EK 146 B777-200L/300ER Daily (Tue = B777-300ER)
- AMS 20:40 DXB 05:10 KL 0429 A330-200 Daily ex-Thu (was B777-200ER - 3x/week)

The B747-400M and B777-200ER aircraft have been swapped between KL643 AMS-JFK and KL427 AMS-DXB.

The A330-200 on KL429 will be temporarily replaced 5x/weekly by a MD-11 from 6 Sept. to 3 Oct. 2010.

GARUDA has extended the AMS ground time of its new JKT-DXB-AMS-DXB-JKT flight which starts on Wednesday 2 June 2010 as follows:

OLD Arrival and Departure times - Amsterdam Schiphol:
- arr. 08.00 GA 88 JKT A330-200 Daily
- dep. 10.00 GA 89 JKT A330-200 Daily

NEW Schedule:
- arr. 08.00 GA 88 JKT A330-200 Daily
- dep. 11.00 GA 89 JKT A330-200 Daily

With the new Canada-EU and US-EU Open Skies agreements, Air Canada will introduce its AC code on the United Airlines flights from the USA into Amsterdam:

- IAD-AMS-IAD = UA B777 operated - AC codeshare
- ORD-AMS-ORD = UA B767 operated - AC codeshare

These codes will replace the AC code on BMI flights LHR-AMS-LHR which will cease to operate on 27 March 2010.

In Summer 2010 Air Canada will sell Canada-AMS-Canada tickets on LH via FRA and UA via ORD and IAD.

In Summer 2010 the United Airlines flights from IAD & ORD will codeshare with AC, CO, LH, and US.

Extra Delta 767-300-flight between Atlanta and Amsterdam:

DL174/175 1445-1720lt only between 03jun-31aug. Daily except Tuesdays.

It seems that Delta has now dropped its plans to introduce a 3rd daily ATL-AMS-ATL in high summer, as the latest shedules no longer show this flight.

Air Transat is planning to increase the frequency of its non-stop A330 service YVR-AMS-YVR to 2x/weekly in July and August only. The airline also operates 1x/weekly to Vancouver via Calgary.

- AMS 19:40 YVR 20:35 TS 921 Tuesday - Non-Stop A330-200 = NEW SERVICE 28 June - 30 August only
- AMS 09:35 YVR 10:30 TS 931 Thursday - Non-Stop A330-200
- AMS 13:20 YVR 16:15 TS 941 Saturday - stop in Calgary A330-200

Air Transat also operates to Toronto 4x/weekly:

- AMS 14:15 YYZ 16:25 TS 341 Monday - Non-Stop A310
- AMS 09:30 YYZ 11:30 TS 351 Tuesday - Non-Stop A310

Pakistan International changed its plan for the summer season, new confirmed schedule:

PK 738/738 --3---- 772 16:55 - 18:15 ( Lahore - Amsterdam - Frankfurt - Lahore)
PK 761/762 -2--5-- 310 13:20 - 14:50 ( Islamabad - Istanbul - Amsterdam - Istanbul - Islamabad)

And on a side note, the slots requested bij Yemenia has changed as well. The flight via Paris has been changed into a flight via Beirut, operated by A310 equipment. Still very doubtfull though if this will materialize.

@ rutger330: is jouw persoonlijke mening maar pax 310's zijn tegenwoordig wel heel wat zeldzamer als een Triple Seven... ik zou zeggen koester ze zolang je nog kan!

maar een 772 is altijd beter dan een A310 die 310 hebben we nu wel eens gezien en nu is het tijd voor een andere leuke en misschien komt die 77W ook ooit nog wel eens maar tot zover ben ik heel erg blij met een 772 is altijd een leuke vervanger

Ik ben het daar wel mee eens. De A310 is een mooie kist, maar ik hoop ook op meer 777's.
Bovendien vind ik Boeing veel mooier dan de Airbus, behalve de A330/340 serie.

Ik hoop ook dat er meer vluchten vanuit het Midden-Oosten met zulk soort vliegtuigen komen.
