Forum rules
ImageThis is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum.
Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post.
In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.).

Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so.

Great shots! Were all of these taken at Johannesburg?
And can those places be reached by anyone?

Cool schemes indeed!! Love the 'this way up', camoplane and 'flying 101' haha good humor!
http://WWW.FVPHOTO.NL/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; --- Check out my photos of this spotting season on my website!

I'd rather depict atmosphere and the 'heat of the moment' making a catchy photo than to reflect the real situation and real colours showing a boring photo.

black box (which is actually orange)
seats (better than taxi seats)
loo (or mile high initiation chamber)
throne zone (more leg room baby!)
tail (featuring an awesome logo)
rudder (the steering thingy)
stabilizer (the other steering thingy)
back door (no bribery / corruption here!)
kulula fans (the coolest peeps in the world)
windows (best view in the world)engine #1 (26 000 pounds of thrust)
sun roof the big cheese ("captain my captain")
co-captain (the other pilot on the PA system)
jump seat (for wannabe pilots)
nose cone (radar, antenna and a really big dish inside)
front door (our door is always open. unless we're at 41 000 feet)
fuel tanks (the go-go juice)
galley (food, food, food, food.)
secret agent code (aka. plane's registration)
a.p.u. (extra power when you need it most)
overhead cabins (VIP seating for your hand luggage)
avionics (fancy navigation stuff)

Normally i`m not a big civvie fan, but that just might be my favorite Airline in the world.

Gotta love a airline with humor.

hello

from Airliners.net: http://www.airliners.net/aviation-forum ... n/4751104/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Out of the forum Britisch world wrote this.

In fact, I find everything about Kalula quite wonderful; in stark contrast to the "screw you" approach of some LCCs like Ryanair, I've found flying with Kalula to be a joy.

The highlight of any flight has to be the announcements from the crew; when landing in Port Elizabeth after a short hop from Cape Town, a booming voice came onto the PA system, saying "welcome to Zimbabwe!", which had everyone in the cabin briefly looking a bit surprised before all bursting into laughter; on the return hop to Cape Town, a hard bounce on the runway which turned into a go-around resulted in the first officer apologising over the PA, and asking if any of the passengers wanted to have a go instead; and even the pre-flight safety announcement on another hop to PE whereby passengers were told that in the event of cabin depressurisation, masks would drop from the compartments above - to use the masks, let go of the passenger next to you, stop screaming and pull the mask over your face.

It made my day and I think this is what aviation should be. :P
nice airliner to loose you're fear of flight, although It would not be smart to use the plane with the text this side up....

Greetings Ton
