Forum rules
This is the forum to share your recent aviation photos with the rest of the community, being photos not older than six months at the moment of topic opening. Theme-based topics, not about recent events, should go into the sub-forum. Although we will not screen beforehand, we reserve the right to delete any images, especially if clearly unsharp or otherwise low in quality. For more information on how to upload you images, check this post. In topic titles, please use airfield names in stead of just codes, and be clear about what kind of photos your viewers can expect (e.g. CIV/MIL, location etc.). Finally, bring any photo criticism understandable and to the point, not cynical or offensive! Simultaneously, do not feel offended by criticism per se, but simply explain your motives, taste et cetera, or ignore if you wish so. |

A little unsharp, but nice pics. Good to see that the Polish are with a D-version on LWD.

I was still a bit sleepy, and didn't check my camera settings. The shutter speed was to long for 500mm. I'm glad they are here for two weeks..Arthur Bijster wrote:A little unsharp, but nice pics. Good to see that the Polish are with a D-version on LWD.

For now just three... arriving today April 9th 2010 at Leeuwarden Air Base:
- runway 24, early morning one of six F-4F's from JG71 participating in FF 2010:
- runway 06, afternoon one of seven JAS39's from the Royal Swedish Air Force participating in FF 2010:
- runway 06, afternoon one of eight F-16AM's from Royal Norwegian Air Force participating in FF 2010:
With approximately 200 photographers there I guess there will be more soon
Cheers Jeroen

Any twin seat Gripens? If so, I wonder how many Dutch pilots might take a ride.....

Yes, there is a twinseat. On that other forum there is also a nice radioconversation with a Swedish pilot (in the database).

2.8 and 2.0x? Yes , i saw your pics last year, looks pretty sharp to me.. And they say that 2.0x sux!... (I haven't tried it for myself, just 1.4x - that works for me.. ) But it looks ok, try shooting more stuff with that combo, and i'm curious how you will do.. Greetz, and probably see you next week, on Tuesday or Wednesday.. (Loaner 400 5.6 and maybe a 5DmkII..Yeehaa!)Leeuwarden wrote:Thanks Andras... It was done with a 300mm and a 2x converter...
