met dank aan milspotter member ''dutchinspector''The Phabilous Phantom will Phly again.
Lets hope.

Ja, ze leren het nooit. Als je bekijkt hoeveel rommel/afval ik nog heb opgeruimd na twee weken Tiger Meet in Kleine Brogel vorig jaar.roberto wrote:On both sides of Leeuwarden (Jelsum and Marssum) a lot of rubbish/waste was left behind by all the people visisting Leeuwarden.
A small request to all people who want to visit Leeuwarden next week,
please take your waste/cartons/plastic/bottles etc. back home with you so that we keep the surroundings/meadows around Leeuwarden clean.
If you see fellow spotters / viewers dropping rubbish on the ground please tell them what they can do with it in a polite manner!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: Frisian Flag 2010
There is a report (with pictures) on Flightglobal about the effects of volcanic dust ingestion from inside the engines of a Boeing F-18 Hornet fighter.
Link here
According to the report five Hornets were involved in a training exercise on the morning of 15 April. Just checked the FF10 logs and only four Hornets flew from Leeuwarden that day but maybe these are included?
Anyway, impressive to see the damage after only a short flight!
