And yes, it is realy worth the trip! Not only you see very exotic aircraft, they also fly like crazy! 3-4 missions a day with 4-6 aircraft per squadron is very normal. All the Hyakuri pictures you see are just two mornings at the field.

Hi Dino, I used a Nikkor 300mm f/4.0 on a D300s. It is a crop but the pic was very sharp so it still looks good.Stunning shots Peter !!

I sure do like the angles/compositions, but I'm not sure about the quality/sharpness. I see very strange colors here and there.
