Hi Maarten, got the HS-TGN (you can't miss that regi :D ) as well tonight. It was at F380 :wink: (westbound traffic even levels normally)
I played around with a Barlow lens which definately provide a larger zoom, however
it is quite difficult to keep up with the airplane at cruising speed. :lol:
Anyway worthwhile trying:

Can you describe the conditions of the air and the place of the sun that realize his assume effect. And was the effect there a split second or longer.

Split second I think.
I saw the results on my scree at Home.
It was little bit cloudy and the sun behind me!
no more details, because I saw this effect at home!

Not really; There are only 2 BAe146's flying with those exterior pods (took some search) and those are the RAF CC2's so ZE700 or ZE701.
