On my way to home today I drove the D1 highway from Trencin town to Piestany, everything around the old river is flooded. Next to highway you could swim.... If you see Google Maps the river "Vah" is close to the airfield, but do not worry they say the weather is bettering though it still rains here. Pictures below were taken near Horna Streda highway exit.

Now another Slovak member on the same aviation forum as Screenes mentioned claims that Su-35 is for granted, but there won´t be Austrian Eurofighter participating, just Italian and also that Krila oluje won´t be presented. Guess we´ll have to wait and see for ourself than.

Two Gripens, Fulcrum, F-16 and Italian Typhoon(Eurofighter is one of partners) are confirmed and will show up - for me that's more than good. Su-35 would be nice suprise but if not - fine by me.

Who says they are confirmed? NLD Agency? You ASSUME they tell you the truth. I assume they are not trustworthy cause the Su-35 has not been confirmed neither by Russian Air Force nor by Gromov Institute of Technologie. If you do not believe me, ask yourself:

That's the point: They have never confirmed the display, and will not participate. Piestany advertizes it's airshow with it. I doubt any jet confirmed by this "agency"...

About the other participants: Yesterday, I read on one slovak news web, that Slovak Air Force will participate (according to that web: 2x MiG-29, 2x L-39, Mi-17 and L-410 or An-26) at airshows in Zahreb (Croatia), Kecskemet (Hungary), Hradec Kralove and Ostrava (Czech Republic) and in Italy. Information that Slovak Air Force will participate at airshows in Pardubice (Czech Republic),Gilze-Rijen (Netherlands) and Cambrai (France) appeared on slovak forum. So I hope it is reciprocity for participants confirmed for 4th National Air Days.

I wrote about Gripens and Italians. SAAB,BAe,Alenia and Eurofighter are among partners - therefore I am sure they will participate. RNLAF Demo has Piestany in their schedule. Su-35 - we will see.

I believe that Mi-24 will show up next week. After all we kind of...well have them in our inventory.

And faking participant list?
I can understand what happened to Eurofighter and E-3 last year, after all they had at least that fly-by but telling people that Su-35 will show up and lie them to the eyes and at top of it to print it on half of the buses in Bratislava?! That´s it, they just hit the rock bottom. What´s next - PAK vs. F-22 dogfight on 5th National air days?
