Invited Su-35 aircraft for the NLD is not participating. The organizers regret to announce that despite several months of effort finally got the opinion that participation of such aircraft in the event excluded.

Anyone for an update on what has arrived and what has not (apart from the Ukrainian Mi-24)?

We are still waiting for Czech Flying Bulls, German Tornado and Hungarian Li-2, Po-2 and Zoltan Veres. I think they will arrive in the morning. Ukrainian Mi-24 didnt come, true, but An-26 from Ukraine arrived.

E-3 did not show up. Austrian Typhoon was more like a joke or something.

I dont know why people still complain about austrian Typhoon. Austrians cant fly a display so they do at least flyby. Anyway, what do you think about the show?

Organization sucked (for =censored= sake who was in charge of static), E-3 not coming and organizators which didn´t even had the guts to tell that to people was another minus but Italian Typhoon, F-16, Spartan, Gripen, 2x MiG-29 and Yak-3 made it all up. Overall it was good, but organizators need to learn from their big mistakes which they made this year and it´ll be great. Also promising things which one can´t deliver is big no-no.

My opinion is that organisers dont repeat their mistakes, they just make new.

Two flypasts without afterburner is not enough...

I have entered to airshow area just before closing...In my opinion static display was very poor and too far from crowd line.
Regarding dynamic display:
- Typhoon - fantastic display! Absolutely great!Is there a better solo demo in Europe? I do not think so! On Saturday he performed also rehearsal before official opening ceremony...
- Spartan - great as well. Incredible roll...Hardcore approach and nice low pass on Sunday
- Both Gripens very nice...I would say that Czech even better
- Orange - Hitec needs to practice - a lot!
- MiG-29 - I was very disappointed...Beautuful aircraft with digital camo but display rather slow and boring...Polish Fulcrum demo is much better (but they are not flying at all now:) )
- 2xMi-24 and Mi-17 - it could be better performed
- Mi-24 - very nice!
- Tu-154 - o my God!!!Breathtaking

Spot location pointed by Screenes is very good. It is usefull for all day. Thanks mate!

Next year I am going back to Piestany Air Show:)

to Borygo: You should have seen our MiG-29 display last year! This year we changed display pilots and I have heard that he managed to get "display clearance" just day or two before show. In my opinion, stars of the show were: italian Typhoon, slovak L-39, Spartan and czech Gripen.

Yeah I heard about final low pass...maybe next year.
Do you know why on Sunday Czech Gripen did not show up? Because of the weather or some technical problem?

I think he was intended to fly later, but the show was cancelled. MiG-29 didnt performed because of very bad weather conditions in Malacky. Technical problem occured to czech L-159 on Saturday. He was not able to continue display and landed.
