Have all all pax aircraft (PH-BFN, PH-BFL,PH-BFG,PH-BFB and PH-BFA) been finished now? Which combi aircraft will be the the second one (besides PH-BFV) and when will this be done?
nemaco wrote:I understood that PH-BFV has been in service with the new economy seats since 19-12-2009. When and which combi will be the next one?

When will they start with PH-BFL?
Ricardo 767-200ER wrote:The Project will last until next year (november 2010) the next planes planned for the project are the full pax'sPH-BFL,PH-BFG,PH-BFB and PH-BFA.
The first combi to be finished is PH-BFV and is in progress right now but due to an combi model it has to be certified, so as i mentioned before so thats why it will take 4 weeks but the upcoming once are planned to be done in two weeks.

It's going very well with the modification program.
Right now, 11 of the 22 aircraft are retro-fitted already (including all -400 and 6 -40M versions).
By October 2010 all 747's will be retrofitted and from that point onwards KLM will be one of the very few European carriers to provide AVOD on ALL long-haul aircraft.

Hello all,

Never found this forum going around over the KL 744's with the all the PTV/IFE questions, i was always posting the info in the inside the hangar topic, but nemaco kept it up here thats good.

New updates on the KL fleet how are done.

Full paxes:
PH-BFA
PH-BFB
PH-BFG
PH-BFL
PH-BFN

Combi's
PH-BFC
PH-BFD
PH-BFE (will be next in a few days)
PH-BFI
PH-BFK
PH-BFM
PH-BFO (almost ready to go should leave H12 tonight)
PH-BFP (being done in H14 but some delays, will be finished in the end of september)
PH-BFR
PH-BFS
PH-BFT
PH-BFU
PH-BFV
PH-BFW
PH-BFY

So the PH-BFE, PH-BFF and the PH-BFH are still left to do.

Will PH-BFN still (as far as you can see at this moment) remain all passenger or will it be converted to combi again?

You probably mean the PH-BFH, well we gonna install the IFE as an FULL PAX a/c so for the near future it will stay an full pax a/c, but we have to install the parts so they can convert the plane back to combi without any major removals.
