Iemand enig idee waarom de N816NW op vrijdag 4 juni rond 1500LT weer terug kwam taxiën van de 36L?

hmmm, het is geen lijn vlucht naar ams raar dat hij toch op spl.nl komt maar wel handig. Flt nr. Geen idee of dat BA016 is hij staat nu in elk geval op D43.

Op de arrival website van EGLL staat hij als delayed zonder nieuwe verwachte aankomst tijd.

het was de BA 16 (G-YMMP) onderweg van Singapore naar Heathrow, geland op SPL
met aanzienlijke schade aan de rechtermotor en tevens met schade onder de rechter-
vleugel (zie ook http://avherald.com/h?article=42cf6032&opt=0)

Cathay 747’s engine shut down before landing at Amsterdam

One of four engines on a Cathay Pacific Airways Boeing 747-400 aircraft was shut down before it landed at Amsterdam on 27 June after its flight crew detected a problem with the engine.

The flight from Hong Kong landed safely at Amsterdam's Schiphol Airport, says Cathay, which has informed Hong Kong's Civil Aviation Department about the incident.

Cathay's flight crew detected a problem with the 747's no. 3 engine about 50 minutes before the aircraft was scheduled to land at Amsterdam and "shut down the relevant engine as a precautionary measure", says the Oneworld carrier.

"At no time was the safety of the 377 passengers onboard in question," it adds.

The aircraft's engine was changed, after Cathay flew six engineers and a replacement engine to Amsterdam on 28 June.

As a result, passengers scheduled to travel on the aircraft from Amsterdam to Hong Kong on 27 June had to be accommodated on other airlines, says Cathay.

In the very early morning of this Thursday, at 06:00hrs I saw an KLM 747 (Asia) circling very low above my hometown (Purmerend) 35 km north of Schiphol. KLM 0032 was the callsign

Slats, Flaps and gear were fully deployed and the captain (pilot) was talking about an emergency, ATC directed him to SPY and thereafter directly to approach 18C. Delta 239 was put into the holding above SUGHOL before continuing.

Does anyone know what was going on with this flight?

DL 239 N858NW landed at 06:38 hrs LT

The 747-400 in question could be

KL 736 PH-BFA landed 06:13 comming in from CUR

Departure of that plane is delayed to 02-07 17:40 LT bound to NRT as KL 861

Probably that plane is involved.

This morning we had a 747 with malfunctioning (nose)gear doors.

At least that's what i've heard at work when I started my shift at 0700, if this is the aircraft in question it was towed back to gate F5 after landing at 18C.
It was already there when I was unloading the KL642 at F3.

// Edit: After reviewing Casper it looks like it was the KL32 indeed, it made a few circles in the SPY holding and the Delta received some delaying vectors before continuing to 18R

Hello,

Around 15.00LT Northwest A330 N805NW (DAL Colours) was standing at 36L cleared for take-off and stayed in that position for about 5 min and then he taxied to V3 and hold position at V3 for about 20 minutes and then he took-off.

Iemand enig idee waarom de Emirates een hele tijd op de taxibaan naast 18C stond en daarna terugkeerde naar de gate?
